What started for me as simply a means of filling my free time after school, in time developed into a full blown photography passion and defined my whole life.
First I chose to study filmmaking at the Silesian Univeristy in Poland, then photography at Bournemouth & Poole College in Bournemouth, UK. Upon returning to Poland, I became a staff photographer for a newsweekly magazine "Wprost", but soon I recognized that only working as a free photojournalist will let me fulfill my passion of travelling and telling stories that I wanted.
Today I am shooting mostly picture stories, portraits and short documentaries. I am working on assignments for Stern Magazine, Der Spiegel, New York Times and many other clients.

In August 2011 I took part in MediaStorm advanced multimedia workshop in New York. A 10 minute documentary piece shot then, called "A Thousand More" was awarded first prize in FotoWeek DC's Documentary Storytelling and Experimental category.

In 2014 I returned to school again - this time to study documentary filmmaking at the renowned Wajda School in Warsaw. The 30 minute film I directed and shot there, called "Out of the Blue" is now being featured in the international festivals.
So - this is where I am now. I love photography, I love film. I do both. With the new exciting possibilities of storytelling that have emerged thanks to new technology and the modern ways of reaching the audience, maybe I can make a difference after all?
